Blue Dinosaur Snack Bars, and all of our bars, are a testament to what snack food can be if care, love and quality are at every step of its creation.

They’re plant based, grain free, and are made from just five or six ingredients in each. Our Snack Bars are gluten free, soy free, dairy free, and contain no artificial sweeteners or additives.

You can have one with your breakfast (try adding to your smoothie), before or after a workout, as a 3pm pick me up, as a dessert, or any time you are simply looking to make a healthier snacking choice.

Our Snack Bars all have a two-year shelf life from the date of manufacture when stored in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.

We achieve this by keeping the available water in our products very low as well as baking them just enough to neutralise any potential for mould or bacteria.

Our Snack Bars are packed in an Oxygen-proof, foil-lined wrapper, and are flushed with Nitrogen to remove all Oxygen from the packet. This process eliminates the possibility for bad bacteria to form.

In warmer climates we recommend refrigerating our Bars and Bites as the coconut oil, MCT oil, and/or cacao butter can melt out of them in hot weather making the bars oily and crumbly.

Our core range (Lamington, Cinnamon Scroll, Banana Bread & Cheesecake) are all made in the USA.

All of our products are made in HACCP certified gluten-free bakeries. We test our products annually for gluten, soy,and dairy, and are proud that our products are free from these allergens.

We only source preservative-free ingredients; there is no sulphur or any other preservatives in the ingredients we use to make our products.

Some of our products contain egg and/or nuts, and all of our products may contain traces of egg, tree nuts and peanuts.

All of our ingredients are completely natural, and many of them are organic. We have never, and will never, add colours, flavours (even those sneaky ‘natural’ flavours), or artificial sweeteners to our products.

We take all care in manufacturing our products; every ingredient we use is metal-detected, x-rayed, and checked by eye for any foreign matter, including date pits and nut shell pieces. However, as per the warning on our packets, there is a chance that date pits, date pit fragments, or nut shell pieces may remain. We are constantly working to improve our products and source the highest quality ingredients available. Due to the nature of producing completely natural products made from only real food ingredients, it is nearly impossible to completely avoid date pits and shell pieces occasionally making their way into our products. Please contact us if you have any concerns regarding this.

Yes! all our products are certified non-GMO.

Generally, if your order is placed by 11am on any weekday it will be dispatched that day, however if it is placed after 11am it may not be dispatched until the following business day. During particularly busy periods (around Christmas, for example), dispatch may be delayed.

We are unable to ever guarantee deliveries within a certain time frame as we are relying on third party couriers. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details.

The biggest difference we’re trying to make here at Blue Dinosaur is to show the world that snack food can be made with the same love, care and attention as restaurant quality food.

Foodbankis Australia’s largest food relief organisation, operating on a scale that makes it crucial to the work of the front line charities who are feeding vulnerable Australians. Foodbank provides more than 70% of the food rescued for food relief organisations nation-wide and we’re proud to make several generous donations to Foodbank each year.

As of May 2020 we are using new boxes for our products which are made using roughly 70% less material than our previous boxes, and are made using mostly recycled board fibres. Our Protein Bar and Snack Bar boxes are made using 80% recycled fibre, and our Bites boxes are made using 90% recycled fibre. All are printed with soy-based ink, and are 100% recyclable.

We also have messaging on all of our wrappers that they can be recycled via soft plastic recycling programs (generally your local supermarket will have a bin where you can take your soft plastics to be recycled and made into furniture, bollards and signage). Due to the nature of our products, we are not in a position to switch over to compostable packaging (it can’t protect our bars against oxygen and UV like plastic can), however we’ve always got our ears to the ground and as soon as the opportunity comes up to make the switch we’ll do it!
